How do I place an order?

You can place your order directly through our online store at thesavourymama.co.za. Simply browse our range of Halaal platters, savouries and snack boxes, add items to your cart and checkout. For large or custom orders, please contact us directly.

How far in advance do I need to order?

We recommend placing your order at least 24-48 hours in advance to ensure availability. Same-day delivery is available for orders placed before 10am, subject to availability. For large events or corporate orders, we recommend 3-5 days notice.

Can I customise my platter?

Yes! We love creating custom platters for special occasions. Contact us directly to discuss your requirements and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Do you offer fruit cups?

No. We currently offer fruit platters but do not offer individual fruit cups.

Delivery

Do you deliver in Cape Town?

Yes, we deliver across Cape Town. Same-day delivery is available for orders placed before 10am, subject to availability. Please check our delivery areas at checkout or contact us to confirm we deliver to your area.

What are your delivery hours?

We deliver 7 days a week. Same-day delivery is available for orders placed before 10am, subject to availability. Standard delivery slots are available throughout the day.

Is there a minimum order for delivery?

Our Food

Is your food strictly Halaal?

The Savoury Mama is Muslim-owned and strictly Halaal. We take our Halaal standards seriously and ensure our ingredients and preparation methods follow those standards.

Do you cater for vegetarians?

Yes! We offer a range of vegetarian platters and savouries. Check our collections for vegetarian options or contact us for a custom vegetarian platter.

Do your products contain allergens?

Allergen notice: Products are prepared in a kitchen that handles nuts, dairy, soy, gluten and other allergens. Please contact us before ordering if you have specific allergy concerns.

Frozen Savouries

How do I cook your frozen savouries?

Our frozen savouries can be baked, fried or air-fried at home. Cooking instructions are included on the packaging. For best results, do not microwave.

How long do frozen savouries last?

Our frozen savouries can be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months. Once defrosted, consume within 24 hours and do not refreeze.
