The Savoury Mama – Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Delivery Areas

The Savoury Mama currently delivers across Cape Town and surrounding areas.
Delivery availability is based on your location and will be confirmed at checkout.

2. Delivery Options

We offer the following delivery options:

  • Same-Day Delivery (subject to availability and cut-off times)

  • Next-Day Delivery

  • Scheduled Delivery for platters, large orders, and events

Please note that same-day delivery is not guaranteed during peak times or public holidays.

3. Delivery Times

Deliveries take place Monday to Saturday, between 9:00 and 18:00.
We will do our best to deliver within your selected time window, but delays may occur due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.

4. Delivery Fees

Delivery fees are calculated at checkout and depend on your delivery area.
Certain areas may fall under extended zones with higher rates.

5. Order Processing

All orders are freshly prepared.

  • Orders placed after the daily cut-off time will be processed the next day.

  • Large platter orders require 24–48 hours’ notice.

6. Frozen Savouries

Frozen items are delivered in insulated packaging.
Customers are advised to store items in the freezer immediately upon receiving the order.

7. Collection / Pickup

A free collection option is available from our kitchen in 178 Pringle road, Sanddrift, Milnerton, Cape Town, 7441 during trading hours.
You will receive a confirmation message when your order is ready for pickup.

8. Failed Deliveries

If a delivery attempt is made and the customer is unreachable, the order will be returned to our premises.
A re-delivery fee will apply.

9. Quality Guarantee

Due to the nature of our products, no returns can be accepted.
If there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 2 hours of delivery so we can assist.
